Disciplines of the Department:
-
Human Anatomy is taught to the 1-year students of the 1, 2 medical faculty, dentistry faculty, pharmaceutical faculty and to the 2-year students of the 1, 2 medical faculty.
Directions of Scientific Work:
-
physiological and reparative regeneration of bones after exposure to eco-anthropogenic factors;
-
morphogenesis of organs after exposure to gravitational overloads and at use of different methods of anti-G-protection system;
-
the heart: hypoxic heart damage in the perinatal period, ischemia and myocardial infarction, methods of therapeutic correction;
-
morphofunctional features of organs at introduction of xenogenic spinal liquid.
During the last few years 7 candidate's dissertations were defended by the members of the department (Belotserkovsky V.P., Chernov A.T., Bessalova E.Yu., Shimkus T.S., Verchenko I.A., Kriventsov M.A., Mostovoy S.O.), 5 monographs and 150 scientific articles were published, 9 patents and 1 copyright registration certificate were received, 5 innovations were registered.
At present 4 doctoral and 17 candidate's theses are being carried out.On the basis of the department a number of scientific forums were held (the symposium “The Biology of Musculoskeletal System”, 2004; IV National congress of society of anatomists, histologists, embryologists and topographic anatomists of Ukraine, 2006; two symposia “Morphogenesis of Organs and Tissues after Exposure to Exogenic Factors”, 2008 and 2010)
The Work of Students’ Scientific Circle:
The students’ scientific circle works at the department (supervisor of the circle is assistant Kriventsov M. A.). Annually the members of the circle publish 30-35 scientific reports, participate in students’ scientific conferences, including the international ones, more than once have become the prizewinners of all-Ukrainian competitions of students’ scientific works in the field of “Theoretical medicine”.
Other Types of Work:
Since 2004 the state budget theme “Age morphofunctional features of separate organs and systems of the body at exposure to gravitational overloads and at use of different methods of their correction (State Registration No 0104U002080) has been elaborated at the department. Within the framework of this theme 2 doctoral and 7 candidate's dissertations are being carried out. Lately 3 members of the department have defended the candidate's dissertations (Belotserkovsky V. P. (2005), Chernov A. T. (2006), Bessalova Ye. Yu.(2006).
