In 1982 Kubyshin A. V. completed with distinction his study at the Crimea State Medical University named after S. I. Georgievsky.
Since 1982 researcher in Yalta scientific research institute of physical methods and medical climatology named after Sechenov I. M. In 1987 Professor Kubyshkin defended his Ph. D. thesis. In 1989 he returned to work at the Crimea medical university. From 1990 to 1995 head of Central scientific research laboratory. In 1994 he defended his post-doctoral thesis “Interaction and Regulation of Proteolysis Peroxidation in Inflammatory Lung Diseases”. Since 1995 Professor of the Department of Pathological Physiology at the Crimea medical university. Responsible for the organization of teaching in English at the department. Delivers lectures in English. Under Kubyshkin’s guidance 5 study guides in English were published for students. Chief editor of the interdepartmental textbook in English “General and Clinical Pathophysiology”, which is ready for publishing. Since2003 the department is basic for teaching Pathophysiology in English.
His scientific interests are focused on the impact of pathogenic factors on the condition of health and mechanisms forming pathological processes with participation of regulatory systems. His scientific research results are based on the study of pathogenic role of proteolytic ferments and their inhibitors, as well as the adjacent systems in developing inflammation, allergic reaction, shock conditions, oncopathology. The materials of conducted studies were published in about 200 articles, 11 patents for inventions were obtained, 7 monographs were written in cooperation with other co-authors. Currently, a team of scientists guided by Professor Kubyshkin A. V. is working on the development of new prospect devoted to the study of pathogenic mechanisms causing syndrome of systemic inflammatory reaction.
Along with participation in the scientific research Professor Kubyshkin A. V. actively takes part in organization work. From 1990 to 1994 he was deputy of Supreme Council of the Crimea, served as a vice-chairman in the commission for education and science. Kubyshkin A. V. actively participated in the organization of the Crimean Academy of Science. Served as Dean of the International Medical Faculty, later as Pro-Rector for international relations of CSMU. Since 2005 till the present moment Professor Kubyshkin A. V. is Pro-Rector for scientific work of CSMU.
Professor undertook internship in the USA on the organization of work of medical center, participated in the conferences as for the organization of higher medical education in Poland and Malaysia. Participated in the execution of projects regarding the organization of health care in the Republic of Crimea within the program “Program of Integration of the Crimea” by the United Nations.
Professor Kubyshkin A. V. is Honored Worker of Science and Engineering of the Republic of Crimea, Laureate of State Prize of the Republic of Crimea, Academician of the Crimean Academy of Science, member of the International Society for Pathophysiology, member of the Ukrainian Society of Pathophysiologists.
