Direction of Scientific Work of the Department:

Problems of protection of Crimean resorts from anthropogenic contamination.

Studying the ecological environment effect on people’s health in different regions of the Crimea.

Studying the dynamics of physical development of children and teenagers in different regions of the Crimea.

The research of adaptation processes of foreign students arrived to study at the university and ways of correction of deadaptation deviations.
The Work of Students’ Scientific Circle:
The students’ scientific circle works at the department. Annually the reports in Russian and English are presented at the conference of University SSS and foreign students’ conferences. Supervising professor of the circle is Prof. S.E.Shibanov.
Additional Information
The department closely cooperates with sanitary-epidemiologic service (SES) of the Crimea and Simferopol. Classes of the 3- and 6-year students take place on the bases of Crimean republican and Simferopol city and district SES. The chief doctors and leading specialists of SES participate in the educational process of the University. The head of the department is a member of Republican SES College, member of Attestation commission of Republican SES, deputy chairman of the Crimean branch of Ukrainian scientific society of hygienists.
