History of Chair

The Chair of Dentistry with its branch at Kherson regional dental policlinic was founded in 1997 with the participation of Professor N. P. Buglak, the Dean of the Department of Postgraduate Education, and according to the order - № 357, dated 14.07.1997, by Professor A. A. Babanin, the Rector of Crimean State Medical University named after S. I. Georgievsky.

At the Chair of Postgraduate Education at Crimean State Medical University internship doctors, resident medical practitioners, postgraduate students, listeners of thematic and pre-accreditation courses obtain knowledge and skills in 6 specialist fields: dentistry, restorative dentistry, prosthetic dentistry, operative dentistry, pediatric dentistry and orthodontia in accordance with standard programs, the program of internship training and pre-accreditation courses approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine; as well as internship doctors and listeners specialized in «General practice – family medicine» - section of «Dental diseases».
