Zabolotnov Vitaly Alexandrovich, MD, professor is the head of the department of obstetrics and gynecology No.1 since 26.09.2006.
He is the member of board of the association of obstetrician gynecologists of Ukraine, Ukrainian association on menopause, association of obstetricians and gynecologists of Russia, the European association of gynecologists and obstetricians (EAGO), International federation of gynecology and obstetrics (FIGO), the Federation of European Menopause Societies (FEMS).
Three Ph.D. in medicine and two master’s theses were prepared and defended under his supervision. He is the author of 7 monographs, 3 textbooks, 170 research works and inclusive international issues.
Zabolotnov V. A. actively develops and introduces new modern methods into the public health service, published 20 methodical recommendations for the doctors, he‘s a holder of a patent and the author of 23 inventions.
He made reports on the results of his researches at 28 congresses, conferences and symposiums. Professor Zabolotnov took an active part in preparation and approbation of new curriculum, at present two textbooks “Gynecology” and “Obstetrics” in English for students and doctors of internship are ready to be published.
He is consulting and taking part in management of the most high-risk patients in clinics of department and republican clinical hospital named after Semashko.
